OrganizationThe Consortium is authorized to represent the interests of the entire sector by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, under Decree of 04/12/2003. A specific system ensures that the interests of the community as well as the producers are protected. The producers have a voice in the decision-making processes; small producers who account for less than 10% of production still have 50% of the votes in the Board of Directors. |
