Speckfest from May 17 – 20, 2007

For the weekend of May 17 – 20 2007, Piazza Walther in the picturesque historic centre of Bolzano will be devoted to PGI Speck.

The tradition, customs, and popular culture of Alto Adige are in the forefront of the entire festival, alongside Speck there will be many other local products such as wine, bread, cheese, apples and asparagus. The Alto Adige Farmers' association will be at the event and will inform visitors about special deals at holiday farms, while introducing the local “hay baths”.
